About

My journey in costumes, hair, and makeup began in the military.

Up until I was 20, I didn’t understand the importance of visual representation.

I wore the same outfit almost every day and didn’t give much thought to my hair or makeup.

Then I joined the military. I had to shave my head and was not allowed to wear makeup or any clothes of my choosing. My entire appearance was dictated by someone else, and for the first time I began to understand how powerful our visual identity can be.

Being stripped down to a blank canvas revealed endless possibilities.

To this day, the idea of a blank canvas excites me. There’s so much you can do to tell a story, to transform someone completely. Each production presents its own unique world to build, and I use texture, color, and silhouette to shape character and story. Whether it’s a bold wig, a subtle contour, or a precisely styled hairline, every design decision is intentional and rooted in the narrative.

I approach my work with both structure and play, balancing creative vision with the practical needs of performers and production. I believe in collaboration, specificity, and transformation—designing from the inside out. The story you carry on the inside shapes the one you present on the outside—and vice versa.

The stories we can tell are limitless.
Let me help you fill in the blank canvas.
